Shelters for feral cats

This is a case of recycling at its best. A man in Utah is collecting old plastic coolers and turning them into shelters where feral cats can keep warm in the winter.

I love the simplicity of his design. The shelters are simple and easy to make. It doesn't matter what size and shape of cooler he has. He can make it work.   It is very kind of him to think of the needs of the feral cats. The work he is doing is inspiring others to do the same.
I wonder if the same shelter would help keep the cats cooler in the summer. It can get quite warm in Utah.
