The feral cat problem has been discussed several times on this forum. TNR is the obvious answer. Yes, it would need money to fund the trained staff, but that must be better than encouraging young children to roam about shooting what they *think* might be feral cats. How can one be sure if a cat is feral or not, anyway? Allowing young children to roam the country taking pot shots is dangerous and misguided, apart from being morally repulsive. They will grow into adults who have no respect for animal lives.
