You are right. The most cruelty free option is not eating chicken. If someone really wants to eat chicken they should at least look for a source that is not obviously cruel. No matter how cheap it is, chicken that has actual chemical burns from poor living conditions, is not a bargain for anyone, especially not the chickens. They have short cruel lives. No one should want to be part of that.
