Adidas ends the use of Kangaroo leather

After years of campaigning against Adidas for using Kangaroo leather, animal advocates are pleased to learn that they have stopped using kangaroo skins.
The Center for a Humane Economy has run a campaign, Kangaroos are not shoes. They have even visited the headquarters of Adidas in German.
Kangaroo leather is a brutal industry that practices night hunts that kill adults and leaves Joeys orphaned.

This is part of a movement to turn the fashion industry away from using animal skins. The message is that no fashion accessory or bag is worth the life of an animal. It is not necessary to use animal products. There are many fine non animal alternatives available.
In time all fashion will be cruelty free. Until then support the cruelty free companies and boycott those that still exploit animals.
