Hero dog killed with nail filled sausages

A trained sniffer dog in Italy has been deliberately killed with nail filled sausages.
Brunno is hailed as a hero. He found 9 people in his career. He also helped break up dog fighting rings. It is thought that it is those people who killed him.

That is a cruel, cowardly way to kill a dog. Brunno did not deserve this after all the work he did in his life.
When they catch the people who did this, they deserve the full penalty for a cruel killing of an animal.
They could get 4 years in jail and a 60,000 Euro fine.
Brunno deserves so much more, but it is a start. It does send a message too.
Animal cruelty will be punished by the law.
