Music Festival held to pay ostrich legal fees

Remember the ostriches that are fighting a cull order. They are still fighting, but that means legal fees. So the ostrich supporters are holding a music festival,

It is hoped that the festival will bring in enough money to pay legal bills and fines and any other expenses. 
The 400 ostriches are counting on the support to help them win the legal battle to let them live.

They did have avian flu, but the herd recovered and are not sick now.
They are not like a group of chickens with bird flu is a factory farm setting. As you can see from the pictures, these are healthy birds is a big open field.
They are not a danger to us and they do have immunity to bird flu. They need to be studied to understand why they got well. They would have valuable antibodies that could save lives. It is important that they be allowed to live.
