This is rare footage of a polar bear hunting a seal on the ice. David Attenborough narrates the event and comments on the circumstances.

There is some ice and the polar bears are able to hunt. Each year there is less ice and the ice lasts a shorter time.
Hunting is a lot of work for a bear. With less ice it is harder to hunt. Polar bears are having to find ways to hunt without ice.
In the arctic, the effects of climate change are more serious.  They are happening faster. To survive the polar bears are going to need to adapt to life with less sea ice to hunt from.
