Rescued owl returned to the wild

A great horned owl got tangled in backyard sports netting. After cutting him free, the homeowner called Raven Ridge Wildlife Center. He turned out to have some netting dangerously wrapped around his neck. He was cut free and his wounds cleaned. He was fed and cared for until he recovered. He was returned to where he was found for his release. He recognized the location and lot no time in taking off.

I love a happy ending. The owl will do well. He was rescued quickly and given the care he needed. Now he can live out his life as a healthy owl in the place he was meant to be. He is a beautiful bird and his ecosystem needs him.
