Pound notesĀ are switching from people to wildlife. Each note will have its own animal image. The final choices have yet to be determined, but the idea is gaining popularity.

I like the idea. Having your country's animals on your country's money is sensible. No matter what person they choose some one or some group is going to complain. Who could complain about having a beaver or a fox on a bill. it would work for any country. Just choose your most iconic animals and everyone will be happy.
Canada is easy: Moose, Beaver, Bison and Canada Goose.
