A different kind of adoption event

A shelter tried a different kind of adoption event. They brought the dogs  in and let them choose the people.

I love the fact that the smallest dog chose the biggest person. They both looked so happy.

Even better is the look on the person's face when they realize they have been chosen. They are overwhelmed with emotions. The dog has chosen them from a room full of people. They feel honoured. They will always know that their dog chose them. Instead of the dog being a thing that you choose, like you are shopping for shoes, the dog has chosen you to be their person. That creates a bond right there.You can see that people feel honored to be chosen by a dog.
I don't know who thought of doing adoptions this way, but it is brilliant. I am sure the dogs feel good about it. You can see the people feel good about it.
