The documentary, Sentient, played at the Sundance film festival. It examines animal testing carefully. It presents all sides of the issue.
It interviews many people working in animal testing. It is surprising how much they are against it. They can't take it anymore.
The film also made it clear that animal testing does not give good results. I was shocked by the numbers, 95% of drugs that pass animal testing, fail in humans.
Some even prove to be harmful to humans.
The film maker asks the question, do we have a right to test on animals, even if we feel we have a need.

I got to see it at the Hot Docs film festival in Toronto.
I highly recommend it. It is not an easy subject to watch, but it is well presented.
