Sea turtle found a mile inland

A 250 pound Loggerhead Sea Turtle was found a mile inland in a Georgia marsh. She seemed to be uninjured. It is unclear how she ended up where she was.  Her rescuers kept her cool and wet until help could arrive to transport her back to the ocean. She has successfully been returned to the ocean to live out her life in peace.

That is something you would not expect to see so far inland.
A 250 pound sea turtle is no small animal. How did she manage to get so far inland and how long did it take her.
It was fortunate she was found in time. As an adult female, she could could go on and lay a whole clutch of eggs.
