We are making some serious changes to our planet and it has been hard on plant and animal populations. Some species however are finding ways to adapt.

The most interesting is the Manatees using the hot water from power plants to keep warm. The saddest is the Orangutans using the logging roads since we have cut their trees down.
I am sure there are many more adaptations going on. I know our local ducks and geese no longer fly south for the winter. The city is a good food source and the big buildings give off heat and create micro climate areas. Who knows how it will effect things if the ducks don't migrate.
What we are doing to the planet is a giant experiment and we have no idea of the outcome.
