Rescuing and adopting Greyhounds

I think you are right on the mark. Maybe what we call entertainment is actually cruelty to animals. It is time we found some kinder entertainments.

I understand that a high percentage never get to grow up in the first place. Of those that get to run only one in five gets a home and a life.
I don't know if the rescue groups track down the dogs. They must because I doubt the dog owners look for people to adopt the dogs.
The whole system is flawed in a way that hurts animals.

I love the rescue greyhounds in my neighbourhood. They are so gentle and dignified. Who wouldn't want a greyhound.
