They need to understand the environment as a complete system. They tend to look at one issue at a time. When you do that the answers you come up with are wrong.  The right answer involves the whole system. We need to think globally and we need to consider everything from the smallest micro-organism to the largest species and we need to consider them in their natural habitat.

It is not simple or easy, but we didn't create the mess in a few minutes either.

The less we do the better. That means not culling and it means not polluting, damming, logging, strip mining, fracking......the list goes on forever.  Whatever it is we are doing, just don't do it any more.
