April Fools day animal jokes

Some of the articles I came across were pretty obviously a joke, but I was fooled by at least one of them.

I forgot it was April Fools Day, but the Search and Rescue Guinea Pigs tipped me off. Guinea pigs are just not the stuff of daring mountain rescues.

The picture of a piggie in the snow is funny, but they should have been wearing rescue vests.

I just couldn't take drug sniffing guinea pigs seriously. They would eat anything that came their way. Guinea pigs just don't work out are "working" animals.

This is an April Fools day joke, but only sort of because the idea might work and could soon be tried. It just wouldn't work quite so well as the article suggests. I wanted it to be real and I was fooled.

I have to admit, this years April Fools Day jokes are better than usual.
