People will probably remember Mrs Yang, the Chinese lady who rescues dogs from the Yulin dog-eating festival.
Many conflicting reports have come in about her, her character, and the shelters she runs. She has been accused of fraud, and animal abuse! It has been very hard to distinguish fact from online character defamation.
But tonight I found this:

A lady named Victoria visited Mrs Yang, and this is her report. (She is not affiliated to the charity which has withheld at least £70,000 of funds raised for Mrs Yang -and the same charity who have done all in their power to blacken Mrs Yang's name.)
It has been very difficult to understand what has been going on, and to separate fact from slander. But at least Victoria's personal vist account does help to clear the air somewhat.
Also there have been developments re: the conditions in Mrs Yang's shelters! This is also a report I read tonight (dated October 2015....but this is the first time I have seen it.):
