Annual Turkey Drop...ends in death

For sheer strangeness and stupidity this festival takes the prize. They take a flock of turkeys in a small plane and fly up to 500 ft and then toss the turkeys out. This time one of the birds didn't make it.

PETA is planning to take legal action against the people who dropped the turkeys from the plane. It can't be an old festival. Airplanes are not that old. I hope they can do something to stop this. It is such a needlessly cruel thing to do to a turkey.
