A man in Alberta attacked a cougar that had his dog. He didn't even stop to think what might be attacking his pet. His brave actions saved both his dogs.

Sadly the cougar was killed later. I wish they would have relocated it. The cougar just wanted to eat like everyone else.
This should be a lesson for people with pets in areas with wildlife. It is not safe to let your pets go free at night. It might seem like a fine idea to let the dogs sniff around the woods, but there are predators out there. It could have been a wolf or a coyote and that might have been worse. Better to keep pets close when in a danger area. The man was from a different part of Alberta that is not as wild. I am glad the dogs were okay.
