A month after Hurricane Harvey, with clean-up still going on another big task is underway. They are working to reunite the lost pets of Hurricane Harvey with their owners. A Pet Reunion Pavilion has been set up at NGR Arena in Nevada.
People can check there for their pets and pictures of the pets are being sent out. If a pet isn't claimed it will eventually be fostered and then adopted.

This is wonderful news. There are lots of reasons why people's pets got lost or separated from them. This gives people a place to start looking. Hopefully most pets will find their way home. For those pets who have no where left to go home to, a new safe home will be found. It can erase the trauma these animals have been through, but it does give them a bright future.
