I think you sum it up very well. Something is amiss. He does not take the responsibilities of his office seriously.
He has made his office a global laughing stock.

Sadly he still has the power to do damage. He does not listen to scientists and he does not believe in global warming and climate change. He has no empathy for animals. 

The rest of the world is going to have to do way more to balance the damage that is being done. 

Global warming is not a matter of faith. Climate change is not a belief system. These are physical things that are actually happening to the planet. It is like he is standing in the pouring rain saying "I don't believe in rain". He is still going to get wet and unfortunately so are the rest of us.
