A new bird species!

Scientists have determined that a hybrid of two bird species in the Amazon has become a new species. I will let you read the story of how they figured it out.

At a time when animal species are disappearing it is good to know that there are new species happening.
Maybe there are many more new species on the planet. It is better than hearing that yet another species has become extinct.
