Dog who lost puppies comforted by stuffed toys

This is such a sad story about a very sad dog. Kiah was pregnant and she was shot. She was found wandering in bad shape. The shelter was able to save her, but the puppies were already dead. Kiah is physically recovering, but she is depressed and saddened by the loss of her puppies. They have given her soft stuffed toys to snuggle and they seem to be helping.

I feel for that dog. She is so unhappy. Someday she will be physically healed and they will find her a forever home.
I hope they are able to bring her comfort and peace for the rest of her life.

I don't know if they will ever find who did this to Kiah. She is probably from a puppy mill or something like that. Whatever happened, I hope they find the person and charge them for what they have done.
