The farmer in the article said he had not even been happy dog farming for quite some time, but may have been trapped in it by circumstance and not having any options he could think of.
So yes, the HSI have a very compassionate and practical approach, and their ideas for new farming ventures for these farmers is helpful. Hopefully in the long run, even more profitable for them too!
