Well they jolly well should have done something to help!!
All that claptrap about "not interfering with Nature". By our very existence, and the things humans do -we interfere with Nature every breath we take.
I have seen similar before in wildlife programmes. An animal in great distress, which is being filmed -perfectly -and yet no-one is lifting a finger to assist! It's peculiar that very phrase is used when observing a wild animal who has got itself into a bad fix, and human effort could definitely help it...and yet not used when observing a woman in difficult childbirth! Imagine if the powers-that-be said to HER, "Oh sorry -we can't interfere in Nature."?
If someone could film -then someone could have helped -or at least tried to help.
I am seriously NOT impressed, with this example of human failing, or any similar. There ARE no excuses. Not even lack of our so-precious 'money'.
(Though I do agree, it probably would have been too tough a job for a private individual to have taken on.)
