Dog found in a box in Costco parking lot find forever home

Gus is one lucky little dog. On November 3, 2018 a shopper noticed a plastic garbage bag with a box in it. Inside was a little 
Shih Tzu in terrible condition. The dog was taken to the Edmonton Humane Society where he has received the care he needed.
He was referred to as the little warrior. In spite of what he went through his spirit was strong and he is a happy boy. 
Now he has a forever home where he is loved and cherished.

Gus turned into a little cutey once he was cared for. Now all they need to do is find the person who abandoned him. Someone knows who that person is. When found they face a ban on owning animals and fines. It is not much considering what the person  did to Gus, but at least it lets other people know who the abuser is and a fine tells others that they cannot get away with abandoning an animal. If Gus hadn't been found quickly he could have died of the cold.  If they didn't want Gus they could have surrendered him. Although Gus was in such bad shape that they would still have been in trouble. Maybe they should have looked after him properly.
