Crocheted budgies, too cute!

Sometimes little knit or crocheted toys are really loveable. The little bean filled cat would have been a real comfort to your mother. Even with dementia she would see it as representing a cat. Maybe it reminded her of the cats she once had. 


I actually have a strange yellow/green knit dinosaur that I got at a garage sale 30 years ago. It has survived many rounds of clearing out junk. I just can't part with it. It lives in my laundry area so it is known as the laundryasaurus. It is funny how at any age we love little toys that look like animals. It doesn't make sense. We sometimes love the silly ones, like laundryasaurus, the best.

The budgies are just too cute. It would be fun to knit a set of them. 
I have the knitting needles, now I just need some skill at knitting.
