Sanctuary chimps in danger of transfer to research facility

These chimps have been at the sanctuary for over 20 years. Now there is some kind of dispute between the owner of the land and the Chimps Inc that has cared for the chimps.

Whatever is going on, the chimps are in danger of being sent to a research facility. Even if it is behavioral  research, these chimps deserve to live out their lives in the place they call home.

I can't make sense of what the dispute is about. I just hope things can be resolved for the good of the chimps.
