Botswana thinking of turning elephants into pet food.

This is just unbelievable. Botswana is thinking of using elephants for pet food. 
They are thinking of lifting the hunting ban on elephants and allowing elephant culls.

There is already a terrible amount of elephant poaching. Adding hunting and culls just puts more strain on a species that is already at risk. The pet food idea just makes it more disgusting. When the world is trying to move forward in the area of conservation, Botswana wants to go back a couple of centuries.
