Yulin bans dogmeat

I suspect all the signatures on all the petitions over the years have had an effect. They helped keep the pressure up. The petitions also would have been a source of encouragement for the activists in China. There is no doubt this is their victory.
It is the hard work they have done that has turned public opinion against dog eating.

I know it is a temporary ban, in just one place, but it is possibly the beginning of the end for the whole dog meat industry.
We have to keep the pressure up until it is a permanent ban everywhere. For once it is possible to believe that this could happen.
