Dog helps rescue himself from dognappers

Vango the dog was stolen from his home in Quebec. The thieves brought him into a pet store where his behavior alerted the store employees. While one person kept the thieves busy, the other did an internet search of missing pets. Vango's picture was there. The thieves were persuaded  to leave the dog and he was soon reunited with his owner.

Good for the alert store employees. They trusted their instinct that something was wrong. 
Good for the owner that she had posted pictures online so quickly. It let the pet store people check and confirm that the dog was stolen. The real smart thinking came from the dog who made a point of drawing attention to himself so the pet store people could become suspicious.  It took everyone to get him home safe, but he started it.
