It's amazing how many products are animal-derived....or tested on animals.
Burts Bees lip balm was always my favourite as I had to survive many cold winds and sun, outside every day. It did a good job. Now it seems very unfair to use it. I am seeking an alternative (and not one with lanolin either) Lanolin (extracted from sheep's wool, sounds pretty benign, as after all -they are only sheared! No harm comes to them. (?)
But the way sheep are treated generally as commodities, and sheared commercially leaves a lot to be desired.)
