Oh dear! That was dramatic! Perhaps it was the sound of breaking glass which made the cat act so strongly. Maybe it associated that sound with violence somehow??

The babysitter seemed terrified. I wonder what would have happened if she had barked at the cat?
Maybe, as Catherine says....the cat doesn't like the babysitter and thought it was protecting the little boy. I think the other cat was trying to 'join in'....!
