Tremendously cute animal illustrations

Illustrator Sydney Hanson creates beautiful animal images for children's books.  They capture a certain charm and whimsey that we see in animals as children, but sometimes lose as adults. Remember how magical butterflies, bees and lady bugs were when you were a child.  Her art captures that.

Just looking at her illustrations has gotten me remembering how I saw animals as a child. Dragonflies were magic. I could watch bees and caterpillars for hours. 
Butterflies are still magical. I think I need to go outside and look at all the things that live in my garden.  I want to see them through the eyes of an amazing illustrator.
