Yellow Ribbon on a dog's leash & what it means
#2
What a great idea. I am sure that sometimes it is better to give a dog space. Certainly there are lots of health issues that would make it better for a dog to be left alone.

I can't believe a dog owner was so foolish as to let his dog go when he was asked to stay away. Her dogs might have had some kind of infectious virus. No means no even with dogs.

If a dog needs socializing the trainer might want to control things more carefully than a random dog encounter. Even special needs dogs need walks.
Let us hope the yellow ribbon catches on. I think I have seen one in Toronto.
