A Dog with a broken leg, left tied to a post, has found a home

It is a sad story that has a happy ending. A beautiful lurcher called Steve was found tied to a lamp post with a broken leg. He was cold and in pain. Fortunately he was found and Dogs Trust was called in to help him. I took a lot of work to save his leg and make Steve well again, but he is now well and has his own loving family.

I can imagine who would just abandon an injured dog like that. If they couldn't look after him they could have surrendered him directly to a shelter.
It was a cruel act. It is fortunate for Steve that there are good people who were able to fix things and give him a chance for a happy life.
