People get baby bunnies because they are so cute. They should have to foster an adult rabbit for a month before they can have a baby rabbit.
People are always finding pet rabbits running around outside. When the baby grows up people toss it outside. Only a few lucky ones are found and rescued. We have coyotes, hawks, eagles and owls. They never stand a chance.
