I am hoping it is catching or rather that it catches on. After all, whale watching is sustainable income, whale killing is not.
Isn't this like the story of the goose that laid the golden eggs. While it was alive it laid eggs. It was a good steady income. Killing the goose for the gold would clearly stop the source of the gold. Your right, this is a common sense issue.
