Couple gathering firewood, find a cat out in the snow

It is common to gather firewood out in the woods of BC. It is not common to find a cat out there in the snow.
The poor cat was half frozen and injured. The couple rushed him to the SPCA. A vet has taken care of his injuries and the 12 year old cat is making a good recovery.
He has now been named Wilson and is waiting for a forever home. In spite of what he has been through, Wilson remains a loving and cheerful cat.

I guess this is why we always stop and check anything that looks odd. You never know when you are going to find an animal in need.
Wilson was one lucky cat. It is cold out there and he wouldn't have survived long without help. I can't imagine how he was out there in the first place.

I hope he finds the perfect home.
