It seem that Matt Damon, the actor, was in Costa Rica ten years ago. He started feeding a stray cat.
You know how the rest of the story goes. Of course he adopted the cat and brought him home to the United States.

Once you start feeding a cat, you start to feel responsible for it.
After that it has to become part of your family.
I don't think anyone is immune to that. You feed it, it is yours.
