The book sounds like a good read, especially since the author is an animal lover. Her five points about animals are right on and I am sure we could all come up with many more positives.
My guinea pigs have got me eating lots of vegetables. I guess that is covered under healing hurts if you think of a health benefit as healing. Eating better is definitely healing.
