Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary banns Koala cuddling

It has been a thing for celebrities  and tourists to cuddle a koala when they visit Australia. The action is stressful for the koalas. 
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary has banned Koala cuddling.
People can look at them, but they don't get to touch.
It is hoped that other places will ban cuddling as well.

Too many tourist/animal encounters involve things that are stressful for the animals. Having even one place stop the koala cuddles is a good thing. 
Letting the koalas live in peace is  important to their survival and well being.
I hope this is the first of many banns to take place.
