Pets in China have jobs

China has a lot of dog and cat cafes. The animals that are present in the cafes are actually hired to work there. 
The pet is interviewed and if it works out, they are hired. They come to the cafe regularly and are paid for their time or earn pet food.

That is an interesting thought, having our pets work. I suppose my Guinea pig could get a job sampling vegetables.
Most of our cats could get work testing mattresses. 
Lots of dogs I have met would be happy to work at a dog cafe. They would love the attention. 
Instead of working dog owners paying for doggie daycare, they could drop the dog off at work and pick it up on the way home.
The dog could have a full and happy day and be glad to come home and take it easy, just like their owners.
I think China has a good idea.
