Help Gera Walk Again: Urgent Surgery Needed
#1
I never thought I would be here asking strangers for help, but my beloved Labrador Gera desperately needs your support. Gera is not just a pet, she is my family, my companion, a source of endless joy and absolute love.

Gera is almost 4 years old, is a vibrant and loving Labrador who brightens up any room she is in. She has been there for me through good times and bad, always greeting me cheerfully with her wagging tail and bright, soulful eyes no matter how hard my day was. She loves to chase tennis balls, splash in puddles, and cuddle on the couch. She is my rock, my best friend.

But last week, tragedy struck. Gera had an accident: she fell from the balcony when we were visiting friends. I still can't get the sound of her screaming as she fell to the ground out of my head. I immediately took her to the veterinary clinic, where I was given a terrible diagnosis - Gera has several broken bones: fractures in her front and back legs. She is in incredible pain and can barely move.

The good news is that Gera can recover, but it will require urgent and intensive surgery to repair her bones. Without it, she may never walk again - or worse, she may develop complications that could threaten her life. The estimated cost of the surgery, follow-up care and physical therapy is exorbitant: $8,000.

As much as I hate to admit it, that's not something I can afford on my own. I've spent all my savings and done everything I can to help her with her medical expenses, but it's just not enough. So I'm reaching out to you, animal lovers, kind-hearted people, and anyone who has ever loved a dog the way I love Gera.

Every donation brings us closer to being able to give Gera the chance she deserves. She is still so young, she has so much life ahead of her; I want to see her running in the park again, chasing her favorite ball and wagging her tail happily. I want her to know that the world isn't so bad; there are many people who care.

If you can't make a donation, please consider sharing Gera's story with others. Your support would mean so much to me and to her. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping Gera get back on her feet - literally.

Welcome to the forum. I am sorry to hear about Gera's terrible accident.
I think your need is genuine and I am willing to let you post your Go Fund Me, but your link doesn't work.
Try posting it again.
