Bill C5 and the death of Ontario's Endangered Species Act

Ontario's Endangered Species Act has been around since the 1970s. The Act has done much to protect species and their habitats.
Bill C5 will repeal that. The article is long and involved and I will let you read it for yourself.

 The whole purpose is to put making money first and the environment last.
It totally goes back on things we fought for. The environment will be considered an inconvenience in the fight to make money.
I feel sick just thinking about it. I have already attended protest marches and there will be more.
We will need to fight each violation of the environment separately and as a collective protest.
We haven't even begun to make progress on climate change and yet we are going back to the time when the environment didn't matter.

Sadly the province has a majority government and the next election is years away. Will there be anything left to save when this nightmare is over.
