Giraffes relocated in Uganda

Twelve Nubian Giraffes from Murchisan Falls National Park are being moved Ajai Wildlife Reserve. This will protect the giraffes from oil drilling in their area and it will increase the biodiversity of the area they are moving to.

It is a big undertaking, but it has the potential to do a lot of good. It could expand the range of the giraffes and make them less vulnerable as a species to things like oil exploration. The Ajai Wildlife Reserve is a rejuvenated area. Bringing in a population of giraffes will help restore the area.

I am more interested in its future. I think we will hear good things in years to come. A conservation effort like this has great potential to do a lot of good for species preservation, biodiversity and habitate restoration.
