Oh that video scared me. I actually started a cold sweat....literally. It was worse than a Steven King novel....
....Until I saw what was written at the end.
It is a quirky idea, but I have mixed feelings about the video, and that is backed up by a couple of comments I read, where it is obvious some didn't make it to the very end, or their observation was lacking, and they made snap judgements. And what about sight-impaired people...? Would they 'get' this?

It is meant to shock people. I started crying when the old dog was taken away. If it makes people think before they dump a pet, then it will have done the job. Cute adds about cute dogs in animal shelters are not reaching people. It is like the ads showing children dying in a famine area. If you don't shock most people, you do not reach them.
They are too insensitive.
I did warn you that it made me cry, but that you should watch the whole video. I will let you know if I hear anything about how the ad is received.
Visually impaired people have trouble watching stuff like that anyhow. They would need the video to be read to them and described for them. There are programs that do that.
It is a bold move. I hope it has good results.

Yes, so do I. It will make people think a bit harder.
Yes of course, sight impaired people have descriptive programs. I had forgotten about that.

I think a hearing impaired person could follow the ad without help.
The descriptive programs for the blind are no too bad.
They have come up with an ad to try and shock people. I hope it works out the way they want. It is a creepy ad. I just felt so bad for the old dog as he was placed in the car. Of course that is what I am supposed to feel. It worked.
I hope it works on everyone who sees it.
