When giant Guinea Pigs roamed the Earth

You might want to speak more respectfully to your guinea pigs in future. It seems they had a giant ancestor, a rather formidable ancestor. I am reading the words buffalo sized and bite as strong as a tiger and I am thinking I should probably never be late with breakfast again. Guinea pigs seem quiet and gentle, but who knows what lurks deep in their ancestral memory. Inside every kitten is the heart of a tiger. Inside every guinea pig is the heart of.......

I always thought Capybaras are the giant guinea pigs.



I am trying to picture a herd of giants way bigger than a Capybara.

I bet they were cute. Can you imagine a herd of them wheeking.Smiley4

Quite right! Guinea pigs are not stupid and deliberately guided you to the information about GIANT Guinea pigs!

I definitely feel like I have been underestimating my guinea pigs. Who ever would have thought that they had such prestigious relatives.
