They are all such lovely pictures.
Yes romance is alive and well in the animal kingdom! I have even seen snails, slugs, and those spindly spiders romancing! Watching the spiders is a timeless event. Don't do it if you have an appointment to keep! But it is very graceful.
In the fields near my house, I have seen Badgers flirting with each other....a bull licking a heifer's face...and a mating pair of deer grooming each other. I used to like watching Misty and Jet together. There was a courtesy as well as a wildness....although Jet was a slightly henpecked hubby! (i.e. Misty used to steal the frisbee and dog-sticks off him! and put him in his place if he was clumsy in any canine social ways.)

Romance is everywhere.
I have even seen two earthworms connecting with each other. They were touching each others faces and getting to know one another. That was a slow process as well. I guess most animals are not in a hurry when it comes to love.

I really admire the photos that you shared, it shows you have a big heart for animals and I really like that.
