Sheldon and Dolly like nothing better than a game of 'chase' round the garden.
Only Sheldon is a Tortoise, and Dolly is an American Pit Bull. But they don't let that stop them having fun!

I love it. The dog has to slow down to accommodate the tortoise, but he still has fun. I have never seen any tortoise act like that.

It just goes to show that anything is possible with animal friendships.

I don't think I've ever seen a tortoise move so fast! It just goes to show we probably underestimate them! (The dog knows, as dogs often do....)

Tortoises must have moments of speed. How else would they end up all over the place. Even the big desert tortoises can move when they need to.

Dogs will play a game of chase with anyone.
